Established in 2021 by Felene Cayetano, Urban Garifuna is a media production company dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Garifuna culture and values. Our goal is to enable Garifuna youth, adults, and elders to see themselves reflected in mainstream media. Our main method for achieving this goal is the production of exceptional books, apps, courses, and films both by and about Garinagu professionals and also by providing consultation services for the creation of these forms of media.
